About New Victoria Hospital

New Victoria Hospital, located in Kingston upon the Thames, Surrey, is a private, charity owned hospital, and is one of the few remaining independent hospitals in the country. It has provided an excellent level of service to the local community for over sixty years and is frequently ranked by patients as one of the top private hospitals in London.

With excellent standards of quality patient care, the expertise and compassion of staff together with constant investment in the latest and best equipment enables us to have an uncompromising commitment to our patient's safety and comfort. In nearly sixty years the hospital has never had any cases of healthcare-acquired MRSA or MSSA bacteraemia.

The Hospital offers excellent speed of access and flexibility with a wide range of multi speciality surgery and medical patients admitted, including emergencies.

There are in excess of 150 highly skilled consultants at the hospital with the main specialities being Orthopaedic Surgery, Gynaecology, General Surgery and Gastroenterology.

In addition, the Hospital has Chest Physicians, Dermatologists, Dieticians, Endoscopists, Endocrinologists, ENT surgeons, Elderly Care, Haematologists, Oncologists, Oral & Maxillo-Facial Surgeons, Paediatricians, Pain Physicians, Plastic Surgeons, Podiatrists, Psychiatrists, Rheumatologists, Speech Therapists, Urologists and Vascular Surgeons.

2 Wards

The Alexandra Ward comprises 19 single bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms accommodating both inpatient and day-case patients.

Each room is equipped with piped oxygen, a nurse call system, including assist and cardiac arrest calls, direct dial telephones, three levels of lighting, satellite television, WiFi and secure facilities for valuables.

The Charles Hutton Day Unit comprises 14 bays with shared bath/shower and toilet facilities, accommodating day-case patients. Each bay is equipped with piped oxygen, a nurse call system, including assist and cardiac arrest calls, WiFi, iPads and valuables storage.
