Very positive experience, no waiting and the staff were friendly and professional
The information that I received was very good& explained the procedure thoroughly with the pre-operations very helpful & informative. The clinical information & consultations were first class. However the administrative consultations were constant, repetitive & confusing. As I live in Jersey, I was unable to attend outpatients & had to explain this every time that I received emails & seemed to be talking to a different person every time, which led to confusion & missed communication with the Pre-Op nurse & the anaesthetist. This resulted in the operation being cancelled on the day 40 minutes before the surgery time. This caused a huge amount of stress & financial cost to me personally & inconvenience to Mr Declan Cahill who kindly rescheduled the operation to the following week. I did everything that I was told to do & contacted everybody by phone or email & also explained that I had 2 days that I would be available in London before the operation for any last minute procedures & information. I feel that these problems could have been dealt with by having 1 designated person dealing with my case making sure that everything had been done in good time. This was the case with my AxA insurance company as I had a dedicated telephone number & contact who I spoke to on many occasions & they knew exactly where I was at with my treatment & I didn’t need to explain any of the details time & time again. The operation was a great success, & I followed all of the aftercare information & treatment & I have zero side effects. I am very happy with the outcome Thankyou.
Friendly and helpful support staff and healthcare teams.
Excellent care and support. All team members were first class.
I am a regular visitor to London Bridge Hospital and always find the staff very welcoming. The location also works very well for me.
My experience at HCA Healthcare UK London Bridge Hospital was exceptionally positive from start to finish. I underwent a radical prostatectomy performed by Mr Declan Cahill, and I could not have felt more reassured throughout the entire process. First‑class hospital, staff, and facilities The hospital itself is first class — spotless, modern, and designed to make patients feel safe and comfortable. My room was excellent, and every member of staff I encountered was warm, professional, and attentive. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and both myself and my partner were made to feel genuinely welcome. Surgical care that inspires confidence Declan is an incredibly calming presence. His friendly, caring manner immediately puts you at ease, and he explains everything clearly and in plain English. I felt I was in safe, capable hands from the moment I met him. The theatre experience was conducted with absolute professionalism. Declan collected me from my room and walked me down to theatre, stopping along the way to point out London landmarks that he had witnessed being constructed. A really nice gesture and certainly helped to put my mind at ease. Both Declan and the anaesthetist were warm, reassuring, and focused, which made a potentially daunting moment feel surprisingly calm. Smooth recovery and attentive post‑operative care Post‑operation care was excellent. The staff were consistently attentive, understanding, and supportive. Their approach made recovery feel manageable and far less stressful than I had expected. Overall I have never felt in better hands. Declan’s expert...
