Welcome to Bath Clinic
Set in an area of outstanding beauty, Bath Clinic is renowned for providing excellent, and fast access, to diagnosis and treatment for routine and complex conditions.
Previously known as BMI Bath Clinic, we are now part of the Circle Health Group.
In 2022, we celebrated 40 years of providing independent healthcare to our patients, providing the high quality, safe and compassionate care, our patients need and expect.
We are constantly investing in our Clinic to ensure we offer first class facilities in our private hospital. Currently we are increasing the number of theatres from three to four to meet the demand of our patients. To enhance our Centre of Excellence in Joint Replacement, our pioneering Mako® robotic-arm. system is an another investment we have made, allowing an advancement in the way orthopaedic surgeons can perform partial and full hip and knee replacements at Bath Clinic.
We are delighted to be able to announce that following an unannounced inspection by the CQC, we have now been rated GOOD in all areas that were previously identified as requiring improvement.

Nurse who first took BP etc was a bit abrupt and not awfully friendly. Just when people are feeling very nervous & needing support. Other staff - fantastic

Helpful staff when booking for appointments. Helpful staff when referring to invoicing of the treatment and claim with the insurance company. Clean, hygienic and overall excellent facilities.

Receptionist didn’t acknowledge presence though standing directly in front of her. Wait until colleague sat next to her asked is she could help. The receptionist could have at least acknowledged me and said something like my colleague will be with you in a moment. Seemed rude and indifferent.

Overall very Good. My only criticism is that I was not informed that I would require 2 blood tests prior to surgery and the second was only advised via the post with an appointments slip carrying no information as to why it was required. Having had blood taken a couple of weeks before, one obviously worries that something untoward had been found. On phoning I discovered it was routine and required for blood matching purposes. Your time and my worry could have been saved had this been explained earlier or at the very least an explanation included with the appointments slip. But as I say my overall experience was very good.
