Very professional and fast service

I was apprehensive about rehab re alcohol dependency after a negative experience in a different clinic 5 years ago....but I needn't have worried as soon as I had my assessments with Colin Jones (therapist) and Dr Fafiolu ( Consultant ) I knew I'd made the right choice .I completed my treatment on 25th March It is such a caring ,compassionate,positive and safe environment and you know that every single member of staff wants the best for you and for you to get better. The staff are all absolutely amazing and that includes Consultant, therapists,Holbrook ward team,housekeeping team and kitchen staff oh and not forgetting the admin & reception teams. It felt like my home for the 28 days and the patients and staff like extended family! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Bristol Priory to anyone that needed help with an addiction .

Really engaging Daycare programme which really helped.

Priory's organisation seemed to be very good. The initial screening call seemed abrupt at the time and very clinical, but the staff member seemed knowledgeable and matched me with a great clinician. I had Kira as my clinician - from the very first session she created a very safe, welcoming space, explained very clearly the path forward we would take and maintained very clear communication throughout all my sessions. I had never tried or even heard of EMDR and she explained it in a way that was very easy to understand and also the reason behind each of the steps and actions. She was very kind, knowledgeable and I felt that the priority was my health above all.

Adele has been my therapist for over a year, and I can honestly say she has saved my life. I was incredibly poorly, and with Adele’s patience, reassurance, encouragement and kindness whilst working with me using CBT and Mindfulness, I am now able to live the life I didn’t think I’d be able to.

The Paediatrician DR Bala was brilliant! We had sent over a very detailed description of our daughters issues and he had learned it. Made me feel like he had already done research into her issues rather than usually when you see someone, they are that quick to summarise, you feel they haven't thought about it. My daughter is not great with people she doesn't know, and he was great with her, started off trying to make her feel comfortable before he even started the consultation. Used great tricks to stop her getting upset during examining her. Asked us if we wanted to ask anything else that was not related to our original concern. When we went to the pharmacy after to collect a prescription, we had an issue with the medicine, we called the vessy receptionist, she put us straight through to DR Bala, and he offered to speak to the pharmacy. Amazing experience! And I could not fault anything.
