Ive had 14 sessions so far and noticed a great difference. Everyone who i have dealt with has been extremely nice, helpful and accomodating.

Olivia Dornan at Priory is amazing! After a history of struggling with my mental health and bad previous experiences with professionals she is the therapist I wish I had long ago and I feel very fortunate to have been her patient now. After suffering a miscarriage I was in a very low place and could not see any light at the end of the tunnel. Olivia supported me throughout, listening and offering both practical and mental tools to slowly help step by step to bring me back to myself. Her guidance to help cope with situations, low episodes and process my challenging emotions & thoughts had a huge positive impact and I now have a toolbox which I can use throughout every aspect of my life to help with multiple situations and metal health challenges in my future. My therapy sessions were always positive and supportive and at no point did I feel judged or that my feelings were not listened to or taken seriously. I was guided through my journey of ups and downs with kindness & understanding and always felt there was so much support there if I needed it any time. Now in a much better place mentally and equipped with a toolbox which I know I will call on throughout my life I will miss my sessions and if I ever felt I needed support again I would not hesitate to reach out to Priory. My experience with Olivia and the Priory has restored my faith in how helpful mental heath support is and how beneficial it is to seek help when you need it rather than suffer through alone. I would highly recommend the Priory and the care they provide, it can make such a huge difference in life.

Parking difficult is the only criticism

Accessing therapy with Olivia has been one of the best things that has happened for me. We have been working together for almost three years, and built up a great relationship that I've never had with other practitioners - I have left therapy feeling like a new person. Olivia is extremely kind and supportive and was always a steadfast voice in reminding me that my health was the priority when helping me through anxiety and some huge life decisions. Am genuinely going to miss my sessions, and will always be grateful for the support. Thank you

The Priory staff saved my life!

Best thing I’ve ever done, couldn’t say a single bad word about any member of staff. If you’ve even got the slightest of issues they’ll do their upmost to help. The environment is so clean and makes you feel somewhat at home while you’re here. Seriously if you really need some help, I couldn’t recommend this place any higher. I’m still a patient to this day, but from where I was at the start until now is like night and day. Couldn’t speak highly enough of all the staff. Day and night shift. If it’s a possibility for you. I urge you to take it.

The staff here made me better - what more can I say? The staff are all very friendly and highly proficient.

I have suffered short term issues with my mental ballance folloing the death of my long term partner 0f 31 years to cervical cancer, shock and lonelyness are difficult bedfellows. I have tried many different approaches from local charity input to the NHS and the Priory was my last throw of a dice that seemed to be getting smaller. Although not the cheapest option the Priory hospital at Barnt Green was well recomended and seemed to make sense on all levels. What a great decison that was.....entry was quick and easy, my initial assessment again thorough but quick and easy and before long I had been installed in my private room (think 4 star hotel) by excellent staff who were keen to get me settled in asap, I will say at this point that we (with my consultant and therapy team ) had decided on my program and duration ( as I said its not the cheapest option on the menu). The first couple of nights are difficult as you are under observation, every few hours, this is a Gvt Mandate and once the initial time has passed goes away. You are allowed to keep your own neccesities once they have been checked so I had laptop, Iphone etc all the time I was in there. The regime is layed out in front of you so you can select therapy sessions (both Physical and Mental) discussions and programs that fit with you and your therapists. My own view take as many and as varied as possible - make the most of it. The staff, both medical and non- medical are excellent the environment clean, tidy and well maintained and in a great location and the food is varied easily selectable, well presented and a joy, the facilities excellent and the opportunity to mix and talk first class. I left after a much to short a stay but have the opportunity to return at any point, I am also taking advantage of thier outpatients offer to stay in touch and maintain my program to the end of the year, would I reccomend - You Becha and have.

A good facility with really friendly and helpful staff. Good facilities, very clean and the food is also good. Regarding the therapy schedule I felt that there was a fair amount of 'down-time' between sessions and also that with so few clients on the ward more 1:1 tailored therapies/consultations could have been provided. Overall a good experience of Priory at Barnt Green.

A calm and secure environment in which to recover. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming and professional. The therapy and care was exactly what I needed to help me come to terms with anxiety and depression. The food menu offered varied and good quality nutrition. Highly recommended
