Professor Martha has a very gentle mannerism - he is very personable and understanding. There is a calm atmosphere during my clinic appointments. The administration side of things are reassuring - his PA is very understanding also and has been able to guide me. They seem to have a very unified relationship which helped with my overall care.

You are never going to be in a good place mentally if you need the help of a psychiatrist. I had reached that point after many failed attempts at getting the correct diagnosis and the medications and help I needed after being removed from a long term antidepressant drug, because of my age, by my GP. I did a lot of research and found Professor Marwaha who I like the sound of. What an amazing find. Professor Marwaha is not only extremely knowledgeable in his sphere. He is a lovely attentive and kind person, whilst still being able to draw you out to explain how you feel. I can’t recommend him enough. If you are hesitating or even frightened about taking this next step, don’t hesitate and don’t wait.

Having a long term severe mental illness I became a patient of Professor Marwaha last year. I have found him to be a very kind, knowledgeable psychiatrist with a pleasant manner who listens carefully to my symptoms and issues, also checking my medication is both helping and suiting me. Consultations are never rushed and he is always careful to double check whether I have any more questions. His clinic follow-up letters are precise, complete and emailed to me promptly. We agree the timing of my next consultation at the end of each appointment so I feel I am continually supported. Overall a very good experience.

Professor Marwaha has been my psychiatrist for several months now, and I’m genuinely so grateful for the care he’s given me. My dad came across him last year, and I’m honestly so glad he did — Professor Marwaha has been incredibly kind, supportive, and consistently thoughtful in every appointment. His calm manner and genuine willingness to listen have made such a difference during a really difficult time. I couldn’t be more appreciative of his expertise and compassion. Thank you for looking after me!
