I didn’t go to the practice so can’t comment on the surroundings as saw Clarissa Batista De Padua online after initially seeing her in person in the Oxford practice. Clarissa transformed my life. She knew exactly what was needed to help me and we worked together for two years to get me to the place I am now. I can’t recommend Clarissa enough.

I saw a brilliant counsellor called Clarissa Batista De Padua. She was the first counsellor who not only understood how I am wired but how to best overcome my life challenges. I had previously been used to counsellors spending much time on ranking my low mood as oppose to addressing the situation. Clarissa came along with an alternative approach which I had not seen before, a mix of easy to understand theory/models but equally important she gave me actionable coping mechanisms. She would also give me "homework" to test myself with these actionable methodologies. And yes I had my ups and downs during my sessions however, Clarissa never wavered in her support and encouragement towards me and just never gave up, she was always far more focussed on solutions than generating more patient sessions. I had been through several counsellors prior to meeting Clarissa, however, she is on a different level, a very unique skilled highly personable counsellor who I will always be grateful to. To anyone who is struggling with major life events and wants to smile again, I strongly encourage you to reach out to Clarissa as she is superb, friendly, articulate, knowledgeable and friendly.
