Daleswood Health is a private general practice serving the community in and around Solihull, located in the West Midlands. Founded by husband and wife, Oliver and Alison Denton, both experienced local GPs with over two decades of service within the NHS, their vision was to create a more personalised approach to general practice. Recognising the limitations of the current healthcare system for both patients and doctors, they aimed to offer a better alternative.
At Daleswood Health, they have adopted a more traditional style of general practice, focusing on providing patients with consistent care from the same doctor, ensuring continuity of healthcare. This approach is flexible, offering longer appointments that are scheduled at times convenient for the patient.
Daleswood Health understands that visiting a doctor can be a stressful experience for some individuals. Due to the increased demands on the NHS, patients often face extended waiting times to see an NHS GP. They seek to address these issues differently by offering twenty-minute standard appointments and allowing patients to book appointments for the duration they feel they need. They also provide appointment options throughout the day, in the evening, and on weekends, striving to accommodate same-day requests whenever possible.
In addition, Daleswood Health has rapid access to various medical investigations, many of which are not readily available within the NHS. Their doctors can diagnose and treat conditions, perform medical procedures, or arrange referrals to hospital specialists when necessary. The team are also able to offer some aesthetic procedures including fat freezing procedures.
It's important to note that the care provided by Daleswood Health can complement the services of patients' NHS GPs. With permission, they share all relevant information with NHS GPs. Their healthcare services are highly confidential, and patients have the option to keep their consultations private at the clinic if they prefer.

Brilliant visit. The receptionists were friendly and helpful and everywhere was so clean. I didn't have to wait long for my appointment. I saw Dr.Denton for a minor procedure and he was so professional, and puts you at ease if you are a little anxious like I was. Definitely recommend Daleswood Health.

Daleswood has become our family practice now. I am still extremely loyal to the NHS, and my family and I have utilised its services for generations, mainly with excellent outcomes. I have also been a supplier/partner to the NHS for 20+ years, and my loyalty will not abate. But being able to spend quality time and develop a relationship with experienced clinicians, who know, can give some time and consider the whole picture without the encumbrance of often politically-led measures and bureaucracies, thereby allowing doctors to be doctors, is very important to me; not least of all because it was exactly that which kept me around in October last year. I now know too much about it to underestimate it's importance. So, for me, it is worth paying extra for that peace of mind. Today's appointment being no exception.

This was my second appointment and I was very impressed and felt listened to and heard and got the help I needed after my first appointment. This follow up was a review to see how things were and how I had been getting on. Receptionists all really pleasant and welcoming and my doctor I saw I felt reassured and confident with the help I received and feeling much better in myself.
