Dr. Iza Maniego (Reef Mall Branch) is very accommodating and understanding. I am very grateful that I have found a doctor like her. Been to couple of doctors from different nationality and same nationality as mine however it does not feel like they’re compassionate on what they do, it only feels like they’re there because it’s their job. But for Dr. Iza, she’s so caring and I would highly recommend her to everyone. I was in different hospitals before my 3rd trimester and when we met and spoke to Dr. Iza for the first time, we felt different compared to other doctors. Dr. Nazia Shahid's behavior was unprofessional and disrespectful. I requested two days of medical leave because I work at an airport in a fast-paced environment where there is no room for mistakes, and my job requires me to be physically fit. However, she refused without properly considering my condition and did not even bother to get up from her chair to examine my spine despite my complaint. When I explained that my company has a strict policy requiring employees to be medically fit before returning to work, she replied, "It's not my problem. Change your job." Such a response was insensitive and unacceptable from a medical professional. I request management to investigate this incident and take appropriate action. I am willing to provide my statement if required. If this matter is not addressed, I may have to raise my concern with DHA and my company.
