About Dr Loai Abudaqa
Dr Loai Abudaqa is a highly accomplished Consultant Interventional Cardiologist with over 15 years of independent clinical practice in the United Arab Emirates. He has expertise in advanced cardiac interventions and the management of complex cardiovascular conditions.
Dr Abudaqa obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from Dow Medical College and went on to complete his Master’s degree and MD in Cardiovascular Medicine at Cairo University. He is a Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI) and holds European Board certification in Cardiac CT.
His specialist expertise includes complex percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), using advanced techniques such as rotational atherectomy and intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) to treat challenging coronary artery disease cases. He is experienced in delivering advanced, minimally invasive cardiac procedures for patients with complex cardiovascular needs.
Dr Abudaqa is actively involved in cardiovascular research and has contributed to the advancement of cardiology through scientific organisation and participation in regional cardiology conferences. He is committed to procedural innovation, including emerging treatments such as renal artery denervation (RDN) for resistant hypertension, with the goal of improving outcomes and reducing the global burden of cardiovascular disease.
