Dr Zhaleh Khaleeli

Dr Zhaleh Khaleeli is a highly skilled Consultant Neurologist who provides expert care for patients managing a wide spectrum of neurological conditions. Combining extensive expertise in general and acute neurology with specialist focus areas, she delivers compassionate, patient-centred care. Dr Khaleeli works closely with individuals to deliver clear diagnostic assessments, personalised treatment strategies, and ongoing management tailored to each patient's individual needs.

Dr Khaleeli graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in 1999. She subsequently completed higher specialist training in Neurology at leading university teaching hospitals in London. In 2008, she was awarded a PhD for her research examining magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) markers in Multiple Sclerosis. She holds the Specialty Certificate Examination (SCE) in Neurology and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP).

Dr Khaleeli maintains a strong clinical focus on neuroinflammation and neuro-ophthalmology, leading specialist clinics for patients with complex conditions. Her clinical work encompasses Multiple Sclerosis, optic neuritis, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, ocular myasthenia, headaches, seizures, peripheral nerve disorders, and Parkinson's disease. In addition to her clinical commitments, she is dedicated to medical education, actively training medical students, postgraduates, and junior doctors.
