Dr Sophie Sinclair is a dedicated Consultant Gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive and compassionate care for patients experiencing digestive tract and liver disorders. With a clinical focus on achieving accurate diagnoses and tailoring personalised management plans, Dr Sinclair supports individuals through every stage of their investigation and treatment. Her practice combines clinical expertise with clear, reassuring communication, ensuring that patients remain fully informed and comfortable with their care.

Dr Sinclair completed her undergraduate medical qualifications (MBChB) at Cardiff Medical School before undertaking higher specialist training in Gastroenterology across the Wales and East of England deaneries. Demonstrating her commitment to high professional standards, she obtained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). Her academic background and structured specialist training have provided her with a thorough grounding across the full spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatological medicine.

In addition to general gastrointestinal care, Dr Sinclair maintains a strong clinical interest in Hepatology. She regularly manages a range of liver conditions, including fatty liver disease, alcohol-related liver disease, and viral hepatitis. Alongside her clinical responsibilities, she serves as an Audit and Clinical Effectiveness Lead, taking an active role in evaluating healthcare outcomes and leading quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of clinical care and patient safety.
