I hope you are well during this strange time, unfortunately, I have not been able to get an x-ray done due to our hospital not doing any none essential tasks, I can, however, tell you my knee feels great I have regained almost full movement, can walk over an hour, cycle and work out on my cross trainer with no pain or niggles, if I end up with a day where I have gone over 15000 steps it's a little tiring but no pain. My local physio has also had to stop working, but I've been following a combination of his info and what you originally gave me.I'm really focused on next week (week 13) gentle return to running! Thanks again, so pleased with results so far
My apologies for bothering you on the weekend, but I just wanted to wish you well and say that Erica and I hope you and your family are safe. Also because o let you know that Erica doesn?t feel any pain in her knee and she has been exercising (walking and cycling) most days when we go outside (always wearing masks and gloves). I hope we can catch up soon when the lockdown ends!
I Wish you and your family are safe & sound , hoping things to get stable to have you soon in our program
Thank you again for all your superb help and for giving my mother back pain-free mobility.
Professor, thank you so much for everything, we arrived Nigeria safely, and Yusuf has arrived School too. Words cannot express my profound gratitude for the excellent medical care you gave my Son.May God bless you and your’s. 😄 Warm regards always.
Since i am back in Spain. Calm and free, my hip is no giving me any pain at all, But probably is because i am eating healthy and walking everyday with my sister and Dad while we listen the sea . Thank you very much for your professionally . My sincere love and admiration.
Merry Christmas!!!! May god bring you only joy, happiness and love on this day of festivities! Thank you for being such an important part of our lives, and for being a truly special and wonderful human being. From the bottom of our hearts to the bottom of yours, merrry Christmas!!
just 9 weeks after you operated on me, I made it to the top of Ben Vrackie (841m) in the Highlands. Can’t tell you how grateful I am to you.
After seeing yourself I am finally happy and confident that you will correctly diagnose me and provide me with the correct treatment and help me get back to 100%, therefore I will stick with you. I feel confident under your care.
I’m actually almost 100% back to normal, with no recent pain in my hip and almost no residual pain in my lower back, which has allowed me to return to work full time (with restrictions still in place on lifting patients and running). I’ve been attending weekly physiotherapy sessions until last week, when the physiotherapist said that I didn’t need to attend any further appointments as he was so pleased with my progress. I would like to thank Professor Ghoz again for all of his help - I am incredibly grateful and will happily recommend him to any friends and colleagues with similar orthopaedic problems!
Thank you to Mr Ghoz. I am very happy with my knee, it's the other one that feels old now!
Mr Ghoz performed two surgeries on my damaged Knee, one to clean up the damaged ACL and bone and the second for the replacement ACL. I was always pleasantly welcomed by Mr Ghoz and his team and both surgeries were performed flawlessly with no issues or unmentioned side affects. He was very open and clear about the self responsibility for physio and I fully recovered in well under the prescribed time for each operation. I saw Mr Ghoz multiple times before, between and after the operations and I was always made to feel welcome and relaxed. If i ever need another Orthopedic surgeon I will definitely return to see Mr Ghoz,
Prof Ghoz! You are a genius!!! After suffering for months with my right Hip it was very, very sore! Had the anterior approach with your good self, no pain whatsoever! Was back on the golf course after 5 weeks!!!!! What a result!!! I love you!!!! Thank you so much!
I was suffering for months with sciatica/nerve pain down my left leg, which meant that my diagnosis was complicated. Nothing was getting any better and I was in severe pain and not sleeping well. Poff Ghoz steered me through this difficult time and we decided together to go for the anterior hip replacement. My nerve pain is gone! And I am back to full fitness! I highly recommend Professor Ghoz! He is the man.
Thank you for fixing my knee and for being so attentive!
Just a note to say I had the hip replacement 5 weeks ago. I am walking perfectly and have no pain. The operation is a total success. Thanks for all your work.
The knee has steadily improved over the week. I can now walk without any noticeable limp and going up stairs is nowhere near as difficult as it previously was. Going down stairs can be slightly problematical but once again my abilty to do so has improved greatly. The pain has also greatly diminished although when walking over rough or uneven ground I still get the odd twinge. When at rest I get virtually no pain. All in all I am very pleased with the outcome
Operation on R/knee was very successful. No pain. Thank you very much.
Dear Professor Ghoz, All seems to be going well there is no pain and am able to walk. Thank you for all your wonderful expertise.
I was ever so impressed with Prof gentle manner and calm but very thorough approach. Did full testing and demonstrated to me why the MRI is probably wrong! Also organised everything for me to get a proper one and explained he will try best not to operate which is refreshing from a surgeon. I feel really privilege for having had access to such extensive knowledge and feel much more assured even though it is not the outcome I wanted I know I am in good hands to have a resolution. Very happy with the holistic approach looking at rehabilitation and other prevention. Thank you!
Dear Professor, thank you very much for yesterday and for looking after my son and for making him feel comfortable, relaxed and positive, thank you very much for your work and we’ll see you at the follow up appointment, have a lovely day,
Answered all my questions and I am very happy, much better than the appointment I had at Fortius the dr was knowledgeable but didn't seem to care or be interested in what I wanted to know
Efficient and I was very grateful to see a consultant at 9 at night wasn't expecting it!
Thank you so much for seeing me so promptly today and for your candor and wise advice. I shall follow it to the letter and to re iterate I trust and respect you as a professional surgeon and a person tremendously.
Thanks to your skill, knowledge and hard work I can look forward to a pain-free and relatively active Christmas with my family and a relaxing holiday afterwards. I shall always be grateful to you and hope that you too have the Christmas you want and need.
Late Last year my prosthetic knee dislocated and chipped my Femur. I was admitted to hospital as an emergency and was told that I required an operation to correct the problem otherwise I would probably not walk again. The operation that was required was complicated and involved major reconstruction of the existing prosthetic knee thus saving the leg from amputation. I understand this was a ground breaking operation for Hinchingbrooke Hospital in Huntingdon and was performed by Mr Ali Ghoz of the orthopaedic Department. I am now well and truly recovering.
Dear Mr Ghoz, Now that I am on my two feet and walking cautiously it is time for me to thank you and your surgical team for the successful repair to my seriously fractured ankle. Thanks to your thorough follow-up procedure I am finding the physiotherapy sessions most beneficial.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the excellent results of the revision hip operation you carried out for me on 18th June.
Dear Mr Ghoz, I would like to express my appreciation to you for operating on my left hip. I can already feel the difference and am slowly getting my life back to normal. In the mean time, I will keep doing my exercises as advised by you.
Dear Mr Ghoz, Thank you very much for caring for me - I am most appreciative.
A great surgeon, knowledgable with excellent diagnostic and surgical abilities. Good colleague. Highly recommended.
