Mr Ibraheim El-Daly

Mr Ibraheim El-Daly is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon based at LIPS Healthcare, Battersea Power Station, with an NHS consultant post at King’s College Hospital, London. He specialises in hip and knee replacement, revision surgery, pelvic and acetabular reconstruction, and complex lower limb trauma.

His practice covers the assessment and treatment of hip and knee pain, arthritis, fractures and lower limb injuries. His areas of expertise include:

• Primary hip and knee replacement, including custom-made implants
• Revision hip and knee surgery
• Pelvic and acetabular fracture reconstruction
• Complex lower limb fracture surgery
• Knee arthroscopy
• Hip and knee injections for pain
• Joint mobilisation and manipulation
• Treatment of tendon injuries
• Osseointegration surgery for amputees

Mr El-Daly graduated from St George’s, University of London in 2007 and completed his specialist training on the Royal London training programme. He undertook dual fellowship training in complex trauma and lower limb arthroplasty (hip and knee replacement) at the renowned Pitié-Salpêtrière University Hospital in Paris. During these fellowships, he developed advanced skills in 3D CT-guided navigation for pelvic and complex trauma surgery, alongside the direct anterior approach to hip replacement.

He has a strong interest in research and surgical innovation, with over 18 peer-reviewed publications, three book chapters and 21 national and international presentations. He is also committed to medical education and holds a formal teaching qualification in Health and Medical Education.
