He also received dual fellowship training in complex trauma and lower limb arthroplasty (hip and knee replacements) from Paris's renowned Pitié Salpêtrière University Hospital, where he gained advanced skills in 3D CT guided navigation of pelvic and complex trauma surgery, in addition to the direct anterior hip approach.
He is actively involved in research and has published over 18 peer-reviewed articles and 3 book chapters. Additionally, he has given 21 presentations, both nationally and internationally. He also has a passion for medical education and holds a professional teaching certificate in health and medical education.

My encounter with Mr El-Daly was brief - just two appointments before I was referred. His manner and approach put me at ease, and after the scans were available he took time to explain what he could see and what to expect in the future. If my condition had turned out to be closer to his area of expertise, I would have been completely happy to remain in his care. As it was, I was referred to an expert whom he knew well and trusted to continue my care.
