Dr Prakash Kamath

Dr Prakash Kamath is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Divisional Clinical Director specialising in broad-spectrum child health and paediatric care. He provides expert medical management for infants, children, and young people across a range of acute and long-term paediatric conditions. With a compassionate and patient-centred approach, Dr Kamath works in close partnership with parents and carers to deliver tailored, reassuring, and evidence-based care for every child.

In his clinical practice, Dr Kamath possesses specialist expertise in paediatric respiratory medicine and paediatric allergy care. He is particularly focused on managing childhood asthma, including complex and severe asthma cases using advanced biologic therapy pathways and respiratory care strategies. Furthermore, Dr Kamath manages various allergic and atopic conditions, including allergic rhinitis, eczema, food allergies, urticaria, and angioedema. His clinical service provides routine allergy management, skin prick testing, food challenge assessments, and adrenaline auto-injector training.

Dr Kamath completed his primary medical degree (MBBS) before undergoing higher specialist postgraduate training in Paediatrics, earning his Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in the United Kingdom. He maintains full specialist registration with the General Medical Council.
