My initial consultation with Mrs Ford was the most valuable and compassionate discussion I have had with any clinician about my recent pregnancy loss and subsequent fertility challenges. Her knowledge is clearly extensive in breadth and depth, and she was able to communicate this to me with a level of confidence and clarity that I found profoundly reassuring. We established a clear plan together, but my consultation alone was enough to relieve me of my anxiety and sense of urgency for further investigations. Despite my fertility situation being relatively minor compared to many, Mrs Ford was the opposite of dismissive, and she paid an unexpected amount of attention to my mental wellbeing, which formed an appreciable part of our conversation, for which I am very grateful for. Independent of further investigations, I feel extremely supported in having her as a future point of contact for expert advice and discussion.
