Dr. Hannah Rickard

Miss Hannah Rickard is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist based in Wiltshire, specialising in minimal access (laparoscopic) surgery and the management of benign gynaecological conditions. She has been practising as a Consultant since 2018 and works at Salisbury District Hospital and New Hall Hospital.

Her clinical practice focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of benign gynaecological conditions, with a strong emphasis on minimally invasive surgical techniques. She has particular expertise in laparoscopic management of endometriosis, ovarian cysts, pelvic pain, and menstrual disorders.

Her areas of clinical interest include pelvic pain, heavy and painful periods, irregular menstrual cycles, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis, menopause-related symptoms, and pelvic organ prolapse. She provides both surgical and non-surgical management options, with an emphasis on personalised, patient-centred care.

Miss Rickard is experienced in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) procedures, aiming to reduce recovery time and improve outcomes for women requiring surgical treatment for benign gynaecological disease.
