“Dr McIndoe is always so lovely, professional, polite and always takes the time to ask how I’m doing in all aspects of my life. I feel completely at ease around him especially as I don’t particularly enjoy smear tests. “

    About

Mr Angus McIndoe is one of the leading specialists in gynaecological oncology - he treats patients with cancers that occur in the female reproductive organs. These types of cancers may include; cervical, endometrial, ovarian, vulval, fallopian tube, and uterine cancers that Mr McIndoe has a wide experience of diagnosing, treating, and supporting patients through their care.

He qualified in 1980 before moving from New Zealand to the UK to take up a position at the Wellington Hospital in London, and gained a prestigious research fellowship PhD and surgical training with the Imperial cancer research fund under Professor Peter Beverley. Since then Mr McIndoe has his own treatment centre The McIndoe Centre for oncology and also practices privately with the renowned Nuada Gynaecology group located around Harley Street to give the best possible cancer treatment to his patients.

His extensive experience in the field from many institutions like The Wellington Hospital, The London Clinic, The Portland Hospital, The Lindo Wing of St Mary’s, and The Sainsbury wing at The Hammersmith demonstrates his dedication to his area in improving health outcomes for these types of gynaecological cancers.

He is a tremendously professional and compassionate doctor, spending time with his patients in the clinic to ensure that procedures are explained and all questions are answered. He is also a pioneer of the latest robotic surgical techniques in treating some benign tumours and gives talks and training to other surgeons across Europe, as well as being a prolific writer in many publications and articles making some significant improvements to women's health.

My experience with Mr McIndoe is always a very positive one. He's professional and open-minded. As the approach to healthcare changes and more information is coming to light, it is important to me that I engage with practitioners who are thinking along the lines of where we are headed. Angus McIndoe does this which leaves you feeling empowered to hold your own opinions and discuss them. Many thanks

I visit Dr McIndoe for either routine check ups or if a slight concern arises and I have been seeing him for 6/7 years now. He is always very pleasant and explains my situation very well to me so I can make informed choices. His availability is excellent and I never have to wait very long for an appointment and if you need any tests or scans then this is done there and then on the day and you leave knowing exactly your situation and any next steps, if relevant. Quite frankly, whilst there are many other professionals much closer to me than Mr McIndoe in London, and I have to travel 3.5 hours each way to see him, I simply would not even consider going anywhere else because I know that he is so very experienced in his field and I trust him 100% to have my health at the forefront of his front. The clinical is very accessible and professionally run. I always get copies of my reports promptly and his charges are very reasonable for the very high levels of service you receive. I cannot recommend him enough to other women of all ages who may have a need for medical advice in this field.
