Mr Alak Pal is a highly experienced Consultant Gynaecologist with over 30 years of clinical experience and has been a Consultant at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust since 2007. He provides specialist care across the full spectrum of general gynaecology, urogynaecology, colposcopy and minimally invasive gynaecological surgery, combining clinical excellence with a compassionate, patient-centred approach.

Clinical Leadership and Professional Recognition

Alongside his busy clinical practice, Mr Pal has held several senior leadership positions within the NHS. He previously served as Clinical Lead for Urogynaecology, having earlier been Colposcopy Lead and Gynaecological Cancer Lead at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. In these leadership roles he established specialist multidisciplinary services, introduced innovative outpatient pathways and contributed significantly to improving women's healthcare services across North West London.

Mr Pal is also recognised nationally for his contribution to postgraduate medical education. He is an MRCOG Part 3 Examiner for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and a BSCCP-accredited Colposcopy Trainer, regularly teaching and mentoring specialist trainees and consultant colleagues.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG), a member of the British Society of Urogynaecology (BSUG), and has undertaken advanced specialist training in urodynamics, advanced hysteroscopy, intermediate laparoscopic surgery and gynaecological ultrasound.
