About Mr Joseph Yazbek
Mr Joseph Yazbek works within the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust as a consultant gynaecologist and a gynaecological oncology surgeon.
Mr Yazbek's postgraduate training was completed at several highly respectable teaching hospitals in London including Guy's and St. Thomas's, King's College and Imperial College. During this period he was awarded a 2-year fellowship in which he examined the role of gynaecological ultrasound had in the management of ovarian tumours. He was awarded a research degree (MD) for his work in the field, and in 2012 proceeded to finalise his general training and specialisation in gynaecological surgery at the West London Gynaecological Cancer Centre.
Mr Yazbek's expertise and experience ensure that he is highly skilled at performing gynaecology ultrasound and colposcopy. He has a specific interest in improving the management of ovarian tumours and cysts. Additionally, he is highly competent in performing open and minimally invasive surgeries for benign and malignant gynaecological conditions. The range of his abilities ensures that he can provide high-quality care to patients presenting with a range of gynaecological complaints.

It was my first appointment with Mr Yazbek and he was extremely professional, friendly and put my mind at ease. I had an ongoing issue for the last few years where previous doctors have made me feel so anxious, Mr Yazbek was the complete opposite and reassured me straight away. Mr Yazbek found the time to come and visit me as I came round, and let me know his findings. And the anaesthetist he was working with was superb: considerate and kind and it all went well as a result. Thank you.
