About Mr Onur Berber
Mr Onur Berber is a Consultant Orthopaedic and Trauma Upper Limb Surgeon with many years of experience in the treatment of hand, elbow and shoulder conditions. He sees private patients at the Harley Street Specialist Hospital, at St John and St Elizabeth Hospital and the private units of the Royal Free Hospital NHS Trust.
Mr Berber earned his medical degree at the University of London, after which he undertook his orthopaedic training at University College London Medical School. He then undertook several fellowships at various prestigious hospitals, including Oxford University Hospitals and Guy's and St Thomas Hand Unit in London. He was also awarded the opportunity to work at the Pulvertaft Hand Centre, Derby, and was later awarded a fellowship at the Institut de la Main Paris, where he gained knowledge and expertise in spasticity, microsurgery and the treatment of nerve injuries.
Since his Consultant appointment, Mr Berber has been actively involved in the medical education of undergraduate students, and also junior surgeons. He is also a keen researcher and has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in renowned journals.

Although there was a slight delay to my appointment time, I can only put this down to the thoroughness of care each patient receives. I am so grateful to Mr Berber for his manner and friendliness and his ability to thoroughly explain my fracture and the course of recovery that I’ve been on.
