Professor Nima Heidari

I first met Professor Heidari to discuss having some metalwork removed from my ankle. I found him very personable, knowledgeable and candid all of which I appreciated; his easy manner made me feel that no question was "too stupid", and his honest answers helped shape my expectations for recovery. I had only spoken with Professor Heidari a couple of times before electing to proceed with the operation. It's a lot of trust to place in someone, but his confidence and obvious expertise made me feel as if I was in safe hands. I also felt that Professor Heidari was approachable, accessible and very helpful during the whole process; he always found the time to reply to any further questions I had over email or over Zoom (aided by the very able and efficient Nicci). He also took the time to come and see me whilst I was at the hospital to have my dressing changed, which I appreciated. It's been almost three months since my surgery, the wound has healed beautifully, and the scar is remarkably neat - it's not far off being a near straight line! I believe that Professor Heidari is something of a perfectionist which is another great attribute for a surgeon; you feel that he will do his utmost to ensure your best outcome.

During my recent visit with Professor Nima Heidari, I had an excellent experience. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and approachable.
