About
Mr Luke Cascarinii, Consultant Oral, Maxillofacial, and Head & Neck Surgeon, sees patients in a private setting at The London Clinic, BMI Sloane Hospital, and the Harley Street Specialist Hospital. The latter at which he is Chief of Service for Department of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He is highly experienced in performing procedures for neck cancer, dental implants, facial trauma, and jaw reconstruction.
Mr Cascarinii began his medical education at the University of Wales, where he graduated in Medicine and Surgery. He later become dual qualified when he graduated in dentistry from the University of Bristol. He did his foundation training in Kent and Bristol, before going on to do his Higher Speciality Training in surgery focusing specifically on general surgery, vascular surgery, and maxillofacial surgery. He developed his skills further in the South Thames Region higher surgical training program, where he developed a keen interest in maxillofacial surgery. He is well known as one of the best temporomandibular joint surgeons in the UK.
Mr Cascarinii is also an active researcher, where he has pioneered the use of stem cell therapy and platelet-rich fibrinogen alongside arthroscopy for TMJ surgery. His research has resulted in the publication of over 50 peer-reviewed articles and 3 textbooks.

Mr Cascarini was excellent. He was personable, friendly and welcoming yet focused on ensuring I received the best outcome and treatment. He explained the risks of the various options that were available, following a review of the scans, and ensured I was able to make the most appropriate decision for my treatment ensuring I understood every stage of the procedure. Unfortunately, over three last three years I have extensive experience of working with surgeons and consultants as I support my daughter through a Neuroblastoma diagnosis. We have experienced many high quality and experienced medical professionals, along with some less than optimal moments of care. While the severity of this situation is insignificant to my daughter’s, Mr Cascarini’s professionalism, approach and service is comfortably on par with the very best care we have seen through that journey. He provides his patients and colleagues a first class service and has built a national and international reputation within oral and maxillofacial surgery. He remains approachable and receives great patient feedback. Mr Cascarini has a practice that includes the full remit of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a highly regarded head and neck and reconstructive surgeon. In addition to this he is considered a national leader on TMJ ( jaw joint) surgery and as a testament to this receives regular referrals from other experts in the field. Through this work he has helped numerous patients who were previously considered to have permanent jaw pain, return to normal function and diet.
