Mr Luke Jones is a consultant knee surgeon who runs a high-volume, bespoke knee practice specialising in all aspects of knee surgery including minor sports injuries and complex joint reconstructions. He takes a patient-centred approach to treatment and tailors each treatment plan to the individual. Mr Jones performs more than 150 joint replacements and 200 arthroscopic knee procedures each year and has vast experience treating top-level athletes. His areas of expertise include sports knee injuries, anterior and posterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, early knee arthritis, minimally invasive total knee replacement, and robotic knee replacement surgery. Mr Jones is a key opinion leader on partial knee replacement, minimally invasive knee replacement, and daycase knee replacement. His practice has recently become a visitation centre of excellence for Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Mr Jones undertook his medical qualifications in London before completing basic surgical training, followed by higher orthopaedic surgical training on the Oxford rotation. He went on to complete a PhD at Oxford University where his thesis focused on early knee osteoarthritis and the role of the meniscus on the aetiology of osteoarthritis. He has also completed two fellowships - one at Stanford University Hospital (USA), and one at the Oxford University Hospitals Sports Knee Service.

Always felt confident I was in the safe hands of a consultant knee surgeon with extensive experience of knee replacement surgery. Personable and happy to spend time, pre and post operatively, giving clear explanations and answers to questions which was reassuring.

Prompt appointments. PA admin efficient and accessible. Always pleasant, polite and approachable. Full understandable explanations of my situation, procedures required, post op expectation and prevention of reoccurrence. Very happy with my surgery, follow up appointments and advise for my future. Holistic care as also expert advise re physio and sport needs. I enjoyed my appointments. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Luke always took the time to listen to what was going on with my knee problems and give me time to talk about the impact it was having on my life. He explained clearly the options, and took me through the MRI scan so I could understand what was going on in my knee joint. He must have done this hundreds of times, but he took time to make sure I understood and answered my questions clearly.

Mr Jones was clear in his observations and suggested way forward to deal with my right knee problem and I was delighted to meet him and I have subsequently taken his medical advice.

Before the operation explained everything that he was going to do & the reasons why. After the operation explained progress being made, telling me what I should be doing to complete recovery. Took the time to answer any questions that I had.

ALWAYS EXPLAIN CLEARLY AND WAS HAPPY TO REPEAT AND EXPLAIN IN A DIFFERENT WAY IF REQUIRED. NEVER SEMMED TO RUSH, ALWAYS MADE BE BELIEVE I WAS HIS TOP PRIORITY NO MATTER WHAT WAS GOING ON OR HOW BUSY HIS CLINIC WAS. EXCEPTIONAL STITCH WORK. COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW NEAT IT WAS.

He is wonderful. Clear and patient with his explanations. Warm and concerned and easy to communicate with. And of course a skilled surgeon who inspires confidence. He has successfully given me both a partial right knee four years ago and now full left knee replacement . I could not be happier.
