Mr Jonathan Epstein

Mr Jonathan Epstein is a Consultant General & Colorectal Surgeon. He is focused on the surgical management of Intestinal Failure and Inflammatory Bowel Disease alongside a full, active role in Emergency General Surgery. He has an ongoing interest in education and training. He delivered his first paper at the ASGBI meeting in 2005 and has been a regular participant since, giving talks, chairing sessions, judging posters and teaching at the training village. He has been North West regional representative, helped with the twitter/x account and sat on the EDI committee before becoming part of the executive board while representing ASGBI on the council of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The Association's founding principles to advance the science and art of surgery and promote friendship amongst surgeons have always resonated with him.
