About

Mr Paul Sutton is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon. He sees private patients at HCA The Wilmslow Hospital and The Christie Clinic. His expertise lies in managing colorectal cancer, performing a spectrum of surgeries from open to minimally invasive procedures for primary, advanced, and recurrent cancers. He also has expertise in complex procedures such as pelvic exenteration and sacrectomy.

He was later awarded a Clinical Research Training Fellowship by Cancer Research UK and began a PhD aimed at enhancing treatment responses to chemotherapy and radiotherapy in colorectal cancer. He was awarded the John of Arderne medal from the Royal Society of Medicine and the Arris & Gale medal from the Royal College of Surgeons of England for his research work.

Mr Sutton completed further fellowship training, including the European Society of Peritoneal Surface Oncology fellowship and the European Board Surgical Qualification in Surgical Oncology, where he secured the prize for the best examination performance. Mr Sutton also underwent additional training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney, renowned as the world’s most experienced unit for advanced pelvic malignancy management.
