Mr Dale Vimalachandran is a General Surgeon who has been practising for over 20 years. He trained at Liverpool University Medical School and in 2000, began his surgical training in the North West of England.

Vimalachandran has been extensively trained in all aspects of general and colorectal surgery. He also has an interest in Colorectal cancer, open and keyhole surgery, Diverticular disease, Inflammatory bowel disease, Pelvic floor disorders including rectal prolapse, incontinence and sacral nerve stimulation, Haemorrhoids, Pilonidal sinus, Altered bowel habit and abdominal pain, Rectal bleeding, Abdominal wall hernia and Colonoscopy.

He holds an MB ChB, MD and is part of the FRCS (Eng). He has an active research interest and is the current national lead for colorectal research and regional NIHR surgical research lead.
