Miss Anne Tansley is a highly experienced Consultant Oncoplastic and Reconstructive Breast Surgeon based in the North West. She has been providing high-quality breast surgery services at The Royal Liverpool University Hospital since 2006, specialising in breast augmentation, cancer, reconstruction, reduction and uplift surgery. She is one of the few female breast surgeons in the region, and she is passionate about patient care and safety.

Miss Tansley completed her medical training in Liverpool in 1992 and completed her specialist training in the Mersey Region. She also worked at Concord Hospital Sydney, Australia, and was later appointed to the National Oncoplastic Fellowship Training program in 2004. During this time, she worked at the Whiston NHS Plastics Unit and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital as the Breast Fellow.

Miss Tansley is committed to surgical education and is involved in organising a successful national teaching program for surgeons and trainees as the Royal College of Surgeons Breast Tutor. She also shares her knowledge and skills through various workshops and training programs.

In addition to her NHS practice, Miss Tansley also offers a complete private breast service at Spire Liverpool and Spire Murrayfield, which includes cosmetic breast surgery, breast assessment, and cancer and reconstructive breast surgery. Outside of her work, she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, and continuing her professional education.
