Professor Selvasekar was extremely thorough and very easy to talk to. He took the time to listen carefully and explain things clearly, which made me feel reassured throughout. I chose to see him because of his exceptionally strong professional credentials, and he fully lived up to that expectation. The clinical experience at Circle Cheshire Clinic was excellent, with everything running smoothly. Professor Selvasekar arranged further investigations very quickly at the excellent HCA Christie facility. He also took the time to reassure me after the procedure, which I really appreciated, and, impressively, I received the written test report the same evening. Overall, I felt in very safe and capable hands, and I would not hesitate to recommend Professor Selvasekar.

I saw Professor Selvasekar for my inguinal hernia at the Christie’s in Oct 2025 when he looked after me very professionally. He patiently and clearly explained the whole process from initial consultation, pre-op assessment to surgery and aftercare, and ensured that I had the best possible experience. He is obviously very experienced and more importantly, as any operation can be stressful for patients, a thoughtful and caring surgeon. THANK YOU.

Mr Selvasekar looked after my entire journey with my cancer diagnosis, staging surgery and aftercare over several years in a thorough, knowledgeable and professional way. His care was exemplary and he was happy to answer any questions and helped sort out any eventualities which occurred during the consequent investigations, etc The surgery outcome which could have resulted in high possibility of complications was excellent and I am very grateful to Mr Selvasekar for that as it could have been very different with another surgeon.

I was successfully treated for Rectal Cancer three years ago. I had an ileostomy after that surgery. A parastomal hernia developed over a period of time creating increasingly difficult issues. Professor Selvasekar and I decided to change to a colostomy and my recent surgery was undertaken to achieve this aim. I was in hospital for nine days after the operation. You will note the reference to "Prof Selvasekar and I", everything we have done has been by mutual agreement and discussion. With regards to the surgery and my subsequent experience, I understood that the operation itself, for one reason or another, was complex and difficult. I am recovering well.
