Mr Anthony Barabas

Mr Anthony Barabas is a dual-trained and accredited Plastic, Reconstructive and Cosmetic Surgeon, and Hand Surgeon. They are a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Mr Barabas is also a member of the British Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH). They have been awarded both the British and European diplomas in Hand Surgery.

Mr Barabas has a particular interest in minimal access (key-hole and short-scar) hand surgery and Wide Awake Local Anaesthetic hand surgery with No Tourniquet (WALANT).

Mr Barabas has undertaken specialist training in Plastic and Hand Surgery in London, and Fellowships in hand surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital (London), Groote Schuur Hospital (Cape Town), and Foothills Medical Centre (Calgary, Canada). In addition, they were awarded the 2013 Interface Hand Fellowship at the Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby.
