Dr Justin Roberts

Dr Justin Roberts is a Consultant Anaesthetist and Specialist in Intensive Care Medicine providing comprehensive clinical care in Manchester. He is committed to delivering safe, reassuring, and individualised care for patients undergoing surgical procedures, as well as those requiring high-dependency critical care. Working alongside multi-specialty surgical teams, Dr Roberts ensures that patient wellbeing and comfort remain at the forefront of every treatment plan.

Dr Roberts has sub-specialty clinical expertise in Neuroanaesthesia, supporting complex surgical procedures involving the brain and spine. His clinical practice also covers the intensive care management of major trauma and severe brain injury, alongside advanced multimodal brain monitoring techniques. Through a combination of thorough pre-operative assessments, precise anaesthetic delivery, and compassionate post-operative management, he strives to optimise safety and surgical outcomes for all patients.

Dr Roberts graduated with his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Manchester in 1995. He subsequently completed extensive higher specialist training across Somerset and the North West of England. Dr Roberts holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP), Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA), and Fellowship of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine (FFICM). Alongside his clinical role, he serves as a Director of Postgraduate Medical Education, actively supporting the training of future medical specialists and contributing to clinical research in neuro-critical care monitoring.
