Dr Julie Guiver

Dr Julie Guiver is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and high-quality care to women. She specialises in managing all stages of pregnancy, providing comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. With a gentle and reassuring approach, Dr Guiver focuses on patient safety and personalised care, ensuring that women and their families feel supported, informed, and confident throughout their healthcare journey.

Her key clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, preterm birth prevention, and maternal care during pregnancy following previous loss through specialised rainbow clinic pathways. As a Lead for Preterm and Rainbow services, Dr Guiver offers tailored monitoring, individualised care plans, and proactive management to help minimise pregnancy complications and support optimal outcomes for both mother and baby. She also provides expertise in general gynaecological consultations and broader women's health management.

Dr Guiver completed her undergraduate medical degree and completed specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology within the United Kingdom. She maintains full registration with the General Medical Council and stays aligned with the clinical standards defined by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. In addition to her clinical practice, she serves as a Clinical Placement Supervisor, taking an active role in medical education and mentoring the next generation of doctors and medical students.
