Mr Mutena made me feel completely at ease. He was very personable and explained everything thoroughly in a precise and understandable manner. I was happy that I had chosen him from the list of consultants provided by my healthcare provider.

As someone who has previously been dismissed from other medical professionals it is nice to be listened to and taken seriously. Dr Mutema explained my options clearly and made me feel in control of my treatment I would definitely recommend a consultation with him.

I left my appointment very happy. I felt listened to, and felt every detail from reasons of my symptoms, to procedure risks were explained to me in full detail making me feel very comfortable in asking questions. I was very satisfied with my overall experience.

My visit can only be described as excellent from start to finish. I was seen at the allocated time and was treated with absolute respect throughout. I was given time to explain the issue and how it was affecting me. I was astounded when I was given the option of a solution at the appointment. I agreed to this thinking this is going to hurt but hopefully it will be worth it. I honestly did not feel any pain or discomfort and from that time I have felt back to my usual healthy, happy self. Mr Mutema was superb all the way through. Put me at ease in the initial consultation and explained the best way to do my hysterectomy in the least invasive way. Everything went perfectly to plan, staff were wonderful at Blackpool Spire Hospital . We paid privately to avoid NHS waiting list but worth every penny as and my life is back on track.
