Dr Jane Hartley

Dr Jane Hartley is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Paediatric Hepatologist who provides comprehensive medical care for infants, children, and young people. Focusing on delivering high-quality, family-centred care, she is committed to supporting young patients and their families through complex health challenges. Dr Hartley provides compassionate clinical evaluations, precise diagnoses, and individualised care plans tailored to the unique developmental and medical needs of each child.

With extensive clinical expertise in paediatric liver disorders, Dr Hartley specialises in managing a broad spectrum of acute and chronic conditions. Her primary areas of focus include acute liver failure, chronic liver disease, neonatal cholestasis, portal hypertension, and acute hepatitis in young children. She is experienced in evaluating patients for liver transplantation and managing post-transplant care, as well as caring for children with intestinal failure-associated liver disease. Dr Hartley works closely within multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, coordinated care that prioritises patient safety, comfort, and long-term health outcomes.
