About Mr Haytham Khalil

Mr. Haytham Khalil is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over 25 years of experience, having practised in some of London’s busiest district general hospitals and major teaching institutions, including seven years at Guy’s and St. Thomas’s NHS Foundation Trust.

He holds a special interest in urogynaecology, with a focus on managing lower urinary tract and pelvic floor dysfunction. Mr. Khalil is highly skilled in vaginal and reconstructive pelvic surgery for genital prolapse, as well as performing both abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies and repairs. He also conducts Urodynamic Studies to assess the function of the bladder, sphincter muscles, urethra, and pelvic floor.

Treatment options provided by Mr. Khalil include non-surgical and medical management approaches, as well as advanced minimally invasive techniques. He has particular expertise in Minimal Access Surgery and offers the latest outpatient Radiofrequency Techniques.

In addition to his work in urogynaecology, Mr. Khalil is a Lead Colposcopist and provides care for patients with abnormal cervical smear results, post-coital bleeding, and Human Papillomavirus (HPV)-related conditions, including the treatment of precancerous changes.

Mr. Khalil also plays an integral role in Fertility Assist Clinics, bringing his broad clinical expertise to support patients undergoing fertility treatment.
