Miss Claudia Reali

Miss Claudia Reali is a specialist general surgeon with advanced expertise in minimally invasive colorectal surgery. She practises at Sulis Hospital Bath, where she sees NHS patients and provides high-quality, evidence-based care for a wide range of colorectal and general surgical conditions.

Miss Reali graduated in 2012 from Università degli Studi di Roma “La Sapienza” with a Laurea in Medicine and Surgery. She went on to pursue advanced subspecialty training in colorectal surgery, completing a Laparoscopic Fellowship at Colchester University Hospital and a Robotic Surgery Fellowship at Coventry and Warwickshire University Hospitals.

Her clinical interests include the management of colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), pelvic floor disorders, proctology, abdominal wall hernias, and diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy. She is committed to tailoring treatment plans to each patient’s individual needs, with a strong emphasis on minimally invasive approaches to optimise recovery and outcomes.

Alongside her clinical work, Miss Reali is actively involved in research and academic surgery. She is currently undertaking a PhD with University College London and has published widely in peer-reviewed scientific journals as well as serving as a peer reviewer herself.
