Dr Clare Murray is an accomplished Consultant Respiratory Paediatrician who provides expert, reassuring care for infants, children, and young people. As a dedicated Specialist Paediatrician, she focuses on diagnosing and managing a wide range of paediatric health conditions, working closely with families to deliver personalised treatment plans that support long-term health and wellbeing.

Her clinical focus lies within Paediatric Respiratory Medicine, with particular expertise in managing severe asthma, recurrent cough, and environmental allergen sensitivities. Additionally, Dr Murray specialises in treating tuberculosis, respiratory complications associated with immunodeficiency, chronic lung disease, and cystic fibrosis. Her comprehensive clinical services include diagnostic evaluations, inhaler technique optimisation, and the provision of structured transition care for young patients entering adolescent and adult services.

Dr Murray qualified in Medicine with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Edinburgh in 1990. She subsequently completed a postgraduate Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Manchester in 2002, specialising in environmental allergens and childhood asthma.
