Dr Christina Parfitt

Dr Christina Parfitt is an experienced Consultant Paediatrician who provides broad-ranging medical care to infants, children, and young people. Specialising in General Paediatrics and Paediatric Oncology, she delivers high-quality clinical care across a wide spectrum of acute and chronic childhood conditions. With a compassionate and family-centred approach, Dr Parfitt works closely with young patients and their families to ensure tailored management plans that support every aspect of a child's health and wellbeing.

In her clinical practice, Dr Parfitt focuses on General Paediatrics, Paediatric Oncology, and Paediatric Palliative Care. Her expertise spans the diagnosis and ongoing management of complex paediatric health concerns, including childhood cancers, acute illness, and supportive care for children requiring specialised palliative interventions. Alongside her direct clinical responsibilities, she plays an active role in clinical leadership and postgraduate medical education, acting as a College Tutor and serving as a Quality Advisor and SPIN Lead for Paediatric Oncology within national specialty advisory bodies.

Dr Parfitt holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS), as well as a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci). She is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH) and actively contributes to professional standards and training quality within the discipline. Dedicated to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence, she routinely collaborates with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to advance child health services and optimise patient outcomes.
