Dr. Jolanta Czyżowska

Dr. Jolanta Czyżowska is an experienced Paediatrician and has been caring for children for over 20 years, combining her medical knowledge with genuine warmth and understanding. She graduated from the Medical Academy in Kraków and earned her PhD in Medical Sciences at the Jagiellonian University.

Her experience spans hospitals and clinics in Poland, France, Italy, and the USA, where she worked with newborns, infants, and children of all ages. In Kraków’s Children’s Hospital, she spent many years looking after young patients in neonatal and children’s wards, as well as in outpatient clinics. She also supports families as a sports doctor and assessor for children with disabilities.

Dr. Czyżowska believes in continuous learning and regularly attends training in Poland and abroad. She is an active member of the Polish Paediatric Society and the Polish Society of Hospital Infections. She has also shared her knowledge with parents through medical books, helping them care for their children at home and while travelling.

Her approach is simple: to listen, to care, and to work with parents to give each child the healthiest start in life.

Dr. Czyżowska is a member of the Polish Paediatric Society and the Polish Society of Hospital Infections. She has contributed to medical literature as the scientific editor of the Polish edition of ABC of Child’s Health: First Aid Guide for Parents and as co-author of Home Medical Handbook and Medical Guide for Tourists.

Her clinical expertise covers neonatal care, preventive examinations, developmental checks, vaccination consultations, and the prevention and treatment of nutritional deficiencies, allergies, and infectious diseases in children. She is experienced in managing chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, coeliac disease, metabolic syndrome, fibrocystic disease, and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Czyżowska also treats a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders, parasitic diseases, and tick-borne illnesses.
