Professor Brendan Madden

Professor Brendan Madden is a Professor of Cardiothoracic Medicine. They are a tutor and examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Professor Madden is also an instructor in ALS, CALS, ATLS, and CCrISP. Professor Madden graduated MB, BCh, BAO (all with honours) from University College Dublin, where they were awarded college scholarships and prizes throughout their undergraduate career. Their initial postgraduate training was in Ireland, leading to their Certificate of General Postgraduate Medical Education. Professor Madden was a college tutor in Trinity College Dublin. They were awarded an MD by University College Dublin for their research entitled “Clinical, Pathological, Endocrinological, Immunological and Physiological Aspects of Primary Pulmonary Hypertension”. Professor Madden also has an MSc in Clinical Applied Immunology which was awarded by Brunel University of London.
