Dr Ayooluwa Olateju

Dr Ayooluwa Olateju is a highly skilled Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist dedicated to providing comprehensive, patient-centred care for women at all stages of life. With a strong commitment to clinical excellence and empathetic communication, she offers expert care in general gynaecology, early pregnancy management, and emergency gynaecological conditions. Dr Olateju focuses on creating a reassuring environment where patients feel heard and actively involved in their healthcare decisions.

Her areas of clinical interest cover a broad range of conditions, including heavy menstrual bleeding, menstrual disorders, early pregnancy complications, and female urinary retention. Dr Olateju is proficient in performing diagnostic and therapeutic gynaecological procedures, such as hysteroscopy and minimal access gynaecological surgery. Beyond direct patient care, she is actively involved in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives aimed at optimising treatment outcomes in women's health.

Dr Olateju completed her postgraduate academic training at University College London, earning a Master of Science (MSc) in Prenatal Genetics and Foetal Medicine. She holds Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) and has received award recognition from the British Society for Gynaecological Endoscopy.
