Qualifications

Mr Adeniyi is acutely aware that the clinical environment feels like a second home to him, while for some patients it can be an intimidating and uncomfortable place. He strives to come alongside patients with compassion, supporting them through their health journeys and helping to reduce fear and uncertainty.

He believes that his role as an experienced clinician is to respect patients’ ability to make informed decisions about their care. His responsibility is therefore to provide information in a clear, relevant, and understandable way, enabling patients to feel empowered when making important decisions. He also sees his role as offering ongoing support throughout their healthcare journey, whether it involves a single consultation or progresses to surgery.

Mr Adeniyi began his specialist training with a junior surgical rotation at University College Hospital/Middlesex Hospital in London, rotating through various surgical specialties before developing a strong interest in Urology. Following a period of research, he commenced specialist registrar training on the South Thames rotation, working across several hospitals in South Thames, East Sussex, and surrounding areas. These included Hastings, Eastbourne, University College Hospital London, Guy’s Hospital, and St George’s Hospital.
He started his 18years of consultant level practice in Royal Bournemouth hospital, then mainly in Bristol in Practice Plus Group Hospitals & more recently also in St Mary's NHS Hospital on the Isle of Wight.
