Dr Adarsh Bhulani

Dr Adarsh Bhulani is a highly regarded Consultant Neonatologist and Medical Examiner who specialises in Paediatrics and neonatal medicine. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to newborn infants and supporting their families during critical times. With a focus on patient safety and clinical excellence, Dr Bhulani works to ensure that the youngest and most vulnerable patients receive the highest standard of medical attention.

Dr Bhulani began his neonatal training and clinical journey in 2016. He has since gained extensive clinical experience working across the United Kingdom in Level 3 neonatal intensive care units. Committed to professional standards and continuous improvement, he is registered with the General Medical Council and is actively involved in postgraduate medical education and clinical research.

Throughout his career, Dr Bhulani has demonstrated a strong interest in improving accountability and quality in healthcare. This dedication led him to take up the role of Medical Examiner, where he provides independent scrutiny and oversight. He also serves as an external reviewer for the regional Perinatal Mortality Review Tool (PMRT) process and previously held the position of PMRT Consultant Co-Lead during his tenure as a Neonatal Consultant.

Dr Bhulani is particularly passionate about improving neonatal outcomes by optimising team dynamics and equipment utilisation during neonatal resuscitation. He is also focused on enhancing the delivery of routine neonatal intensive care through efficient recruitment and workforce planning. His clinical research contributions include systematic reviews and meta-analyses on neonatal treatments, such as the effectiveness and safety of antiseizure medications in newborns.
