Having seen other orthopaedic surgeons and undergone surgey previously on the same issue, seeing Mr Malik felt like the first actual 'Consultant' appointment. For clarity, I wanted to see Mr Malik due to his cited specialities of assisting younger sportspeople back to participation. We discussed options, potential routes, risks and benefits to each before settling upon a choice. Mr Malik was thorough and open in the conversations and I felt listened to throughout.
