To take a case that had long been beyond the reach of NHS dogma; to deconstruct it and then elementally re-combine the components around a single evidence backed core explanation, was an absolute object lesson in how academic and free-thinking medicine can be conducted to the benefit of the patient, their family and support networks. Melita is a fabulous Doctor and human. She connects with our son (2-year-old with Achondroplasia) and understands our concerns and needs.
