Dr Deborah Ruddy

Dr Deborah Ruddy is a Consultant Clinical Geneticist at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust and she also sees patients privately at London Bridge Hospital, The Princess Grace Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic. She has a specialist interest in adult onset inherited disease, particularly for cancer syndromes and neurological conditions.

Dr Ruddy was appointed Head of Service at Guy's Hospital in 2017 and she was appointed to the consultant team in 2007. She manages cases where there is a hereditary susceptibility to cancer, provides cancer risk assessments and genomic counselling and testing. She also runs multidisciplinary clinics for patients with Huntington's Disease, von Hippel Lindau Disease and inherite psychiatric disorders. She also has research interests, including into Huntington's Disease.
