About Ms Ailidh Watson
Ms. Ailidh Watson is a Registered Genetic Counsellor with specialist expertise in prenatal genetics and patients with cleft lip and/or palate. She has a broad range of experience in genetic counselling, spanning prenatal care, cancer genetics, and cleft-related conditions. She is the genetic counselling lead at Jeen Health, an at-home genetic testing and counselling service in the UK.
Ailidh holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Genetics from the University of Glasgow (2017) and completed her MSc in Genomic Counselling with distinction at the University of Manchester (2021). Her academic and clinical training enable her to deliver comprehensive and compassionate care tailored to each patient’s genetic needs.

Ailidh is excellent. I'm a geneticist by training (but not a clinical geneticist) so basically I'm kind of a nightmare client. Ailidh perfectly hit the level of information I needed and wanted. She answered all of my questions, layed out information for me clearly and in a way that was easy to comprehend, and told me how follow-up would work. She listened to all my thoughts and concerns carefully and without judgement. Honestly, when I get my NIPT results back, I'd only want to talk to her.
