I am a specialist consultant orthopaedic surgeon focusing exclusively on foot and ankle conditions, with the aim of helping patients return to pain-free movement as quickly and safely as possible.
I treat a wide range of problems including bunions, sports injuries, arthritis, tendon disorders and complex or revision cases. My approach is always tailored to the individual, and surgery is only recommended when it is truly the best option.
Many patients I see are understandably concerned about pain, recovery time and outcomes. My role is to guide you through your options clearly and honestly, and to support you throughout your recovery.
I believe in a patient-centred approach, where every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs and lifestyle.
Most importantly, you will be listened to in my clinic.
Where possible, non-surgical treatments are explored first. If surgery is required, I use modern techniques and aim to optimise recovery, minimise complications and get you back to normal activities as soon as possible.
You will be supported throughout your journey—from initial consultation, through treatment, and during your recovery and rehabilitation.

First visit was brief and the decisions to operate were quick and fully explained In the day of the surgery it was also quick and painless. I had a few follow ups with the nurses and dressing changes and a course of antibiotics were prescribed and these cleared up my toe very well. Final discharge visit was quick and decisive and my toe is just about fully healed with no signs of infection or soreness. Overall I’m delighted to have been seen and treated by Mr Nanavati
