Dr Chaunnanau Yi specialises in Acupuncture and Chinese medicine. He has 35 years of clinical experience and 17 years of experience in the UK. He worked in Swindon, Chester and Birmingham. In his early career, he worked in emergency and internal medicine. Before he moved to the UK in 2002, he worked in the Beijing Shunyi Hospital as a senior doctor in the department of integrated traditional and Western medicine.
He treats men and women with common conditions such as chronic pain, diabetes, stress, skin problems, and many more. He has a specialist interest in seeing patients with IBS, impotence, painful periods, infertility, arthritis.
Dr Yi has also been involved in research and academia. Dr Yi was a part-time teacher for 2 years at the Shunyi Hospital's Health College where he taught traditional diagnostic techniques and medical English. In the UK, he has taught acupuncture for 5 years at the Almond Academy in Swindon.
