Jacob Yaad Hassan

Jacob Yaad Hassan is a soft tissue therapist with a special set of skills and experiences that make him stand out in his field. He has extensive experience in trauma and pain medicine as an army combat medic veteran, and also holds a degree in Chinese medicine.

He is passionate about pain education and the treatment of Pain, focusing mainly on Functional Acupuncture, Breathing-Work, Manual Therapy, Sleeping Architecture, and Finding Joy in Movement.

Specialis in Functional Acupuncture and Electro Acupuncture, symptoms such as back pain, neck pain, pain management, stress-emotional related pain, Esleeping difficulties and Breathing-Work

Following his passion has led Jacob to further specialise in Hyperbaric Medicine.

Jacob recently finished his Chamber Operator course in the DDRC centre for Hyperbaric Medicine in Plymouth and joined EBAss (The European Baromedical Association) and UHMS (Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society).

This has led to the launch of a new service within Better: HBOT (Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy).
The focus of this service will be to treat conditions such as Concussion/Traumatic Brain Injuries, Long Covid, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Sport & Exercise Performance Enhancement.

He is committed to deliver the highest standards of care through Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, operating from Better’s City clinic. Using a battery of tests and assessments, all key markers of recovery will be tracked throughout the course of treatment.

Jacob believes that laughter and kindness should form the foundation from which to build one's recovery.
